A SURVEY OF THE INCIDENCE OF HAND INJURY
Abstract
The urgency of the problem of open injury of the hand is explained by the high proportion of injuries among occupational injuries, which reaches 30-40%, and in some industries - up to 60%, which is the most common cause of amputations. The frequency of hand injuries does not tend to decrease, despite the improvement of working conditions and the improvement of safety equipment, therefore, in recent years, industrial hand injury has been the subject of detailed epidemiological studies.
The purpose of the study was to study the patterns and prevalence of hand injuries and hand joint pathology among people with complaints of hand injury in Almazar, Uchtepa and Shaykhantakhur districts of Tashkent city. According to the result, during the considered time period (from 2017 to 2021), the frequency of treatment of patients with hand injuries was 20.075 cases. The most common nosological forms of these injuries are fractures of the bones of the hand and bruises of the soft tissues of the hands. The highest percentage of all those who applied for damage to the hand and with complaints of articular syndromes are young and middle-aged people (from 19 to 27 years old).
